Ingrida
Ingrida is our Village Manager and has worked for Latvian Aged Care for 24 years doing various roles. Throughout those roles, she really is the backbone of our home! Her warm and approachable manner is legendary, and she is a true people person. She has a loving husband, an elderly dog and has wonderful sisters, some of whom are also part of our Village community. Ingrida is also a wonderful cook and hostess and blesses us all with her cooking at times in the Village.
Zaigere
Zaigere is our CEO. She is a registered nurse and a experienced Aged Care Manager who has had various roles in Aged Care over the years, starting as a Clinical Coordinator and then progressing to a Facility Manager and then Executive Manager. Zaigere and her husband have three wonderful children, a dog and a cat and they love travelling together as a family. Zaigere is dedicated to caring for Older Australians and ensuring they have the best quality of life possible while under her care.
Adra
Adra joined LACF in 2020 as a Registered Nurse. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Adra has 15 years of experience in aged care with 7 of those years as a Unit Manager providing the highest-quality care. She has a Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care in Aged Care from Flinders University. Adra has three lovely children of whom she is very proud. Adra is a important part of our management team and we are very happy to have her kind and professional presence around our home.
Shirlene
Shirlene is our wonderful chef and she has spent the last 24 years working in the aged care sector. She is from French background and hence her love of great food! She has four children and two of them are twins, a boy and girl.
During her early career she worked in restaurants, doing function work for wedding receptions and wineries as well as companies in the city of Melbourne.
She was also nominated by my company for Chef Manager of the year award and came runner up within Victoria. We are very happy to have her leading our catering team.
Tracey
Tracey has recently joined Latvian Aged Care as a Lifestyle Coordinator. She is married with two beautiful little boys aged 11 and 9 and a pet cat named Vinnie. She has always loved working with people and started her career as a travel agent and worked in that industry for many years before changing careers to Aged Care. Tracey worked initially as a PCA and then chose to become a Diversional Therapist. She loves working in Lifestyle as it is a very special area and Tracey values her time with the residents. She believes that a good lifestyle program enriches a person’s life and gives them purpose. Tracey states 'I am so excited to be a part of the team at Latvian Aged Care'
